Dr. Julia L. Moore is the Director of Alumni Relations and Donor Engagement for the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. She also functions as the Executive Director of the ASU Law Alumni Association. Julia has over twenty-eight years of professional experience in advancement, alumni relations, donor stewardship, development, marketing/communications, theatre and events management in higher education and arts administration sectors.
Julia received her doctorate in Fine Arts with a specialization in Theatre Management, and an M.A. in Theatre from Texas Tech University. She has a B.F.A. in Theatre with a double major in Marketing from Millikin University in Illinois. Previously she served as the Director Development, Alumni and Community Relations at Paradise Valley Community College for ten years and was the college’s first Institutional Advancement professional appointed by the President. She held positions at the University of Arizona School of Theatre Arts as Director of Marketing and Development, the University of Central Florida as Associate Professor of Theatre Management, and the University of Vermont Department of Theatre in Marketing. She served as the Director of Marketing for the City of Mesa’s then new $98 million Mesa Arts Center for three years. She has fourteen years of university teaching experience in theatre, theatre management, arts marketing and theatre appreciation.
She is a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and Association of Donor Relations Professionals (ADRP). Julia was the Public Relations and Fundraising chair for the Annie Moore Memorial Project (the Irish-American historic Ellis Island icon is her great-grandmother) where she lead an international fund raising effort and special event to honor Annie Moore through Phoenix’s Irish Cultural and Learning Foundation. She volunteers at Phoenix’s Irish Cultural Center and local youth theatre companies.
