With 30 years of experience in international education, I’ve been building global communities by engaging leaders in universities, companies and governmental organizations. I’ve developed international strategies and programs on alumni and stakeholder engagement, intercultural communication, student and academic mobility, international marketing and recruitment and language learning. This has given me the opportunity to live and work in the Netherlands, USA, Spain, and Colombia.
I’m currently completing a PhD. in International Higher Education at Tilburg University in the Netherlands.
I volunteer as trainer and adviser to various international organizations: the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), Association of International Educators (NAFSA), European Association of International Education (EAIE), Association of Latin American Business Schools (CLADEA) and Nuffic (Organization for internationalization of Dutch education). I’ve also co-authored various articles on international engagement.
