Since 1994, I have worked at the Haas School of Business Alumni Relations & Development Office. I lead and work very closely with a terrific team of professionals that coordinate an extremely active calendar of events and series of communications to connect members of the global Haas Alumni Network (over 39,000 alumni). We offer monthly signature & professional networking events, career management tools/resources (jobs database, resume database, advising, job fairs, workshops, and online webinars), online alumni directories and social networking communities, annual Reunion Weekend, complimentary MBA class audit program, and numerous lifelong learning opportunities and programs by our 100+ regional and industry-based chapters. We send out an alumni magazine, a bi-weekly alumni e-newsletter, and almost daily email announcements. On average, 6 out of 7 days a week there is an alumni program/event happening somewhere in the world!
I also work closely with the hardworking and focused Haas Annual Fund staff to raise unrestricted funds for the school. Our goal is to raise over $4.5 Million this year…. we are poised to have a great year based on our strong alumni network and inspirational Dean Rich Lyons.
Before coming to UC Berkeley, I worked in the field of international cultural and educational exchange in both Washington, DC (NCIV) and San Francisco (The Asia Foundation).
After college, I spent 2 years living and teaching English in Kyoto, Japan and traveling around South East Asia with a very small backpack.
Specialties: connecting folks with similar interests and passions; brainstorming career options and ideas; inspiring donors to support their alma mater; planning events, reunions, and special programs for alumni from the best business school in the world!
