Tracey is an experienced marketing, development and alumni relations professional with extensive strategic and management experience. Having worked originally in teacher education, she joined the University of New South Wales in 1987 where she was responsible for communications and marketing and applied her considerable expertise to building an international alumni loyalty program. In 2005 she joined the University of Sydney where she was the Director of Alumni Relations and Events until 2014. Tracey initiated an alumni and events program that maximised the University’s reputation and intellectual capital, and further developed her strategic strengths in leadership, relationship development, community engagement and fundraising. In 2014 she moved to the United Kingdom as Deputy Director and Head of Supporter Engagement at the University of Bristol, where she was responsible for developing recurrent and increasingly large sources of philanthropic income, and the provision of opportunities for alumni and donors to engage with the University.
In January 2019 Tracey took up the role of Senior Advancement Manager at UTS Sydney in the Faculty of Law, where she is responsible for ensuring the sustained growth of a vibrant and collaborative alumni community and attracting significant philanthropic gifts for UTS Law’s strategic priorities.
Tracey has extensive Board experience; was Chair of the Australian Alumni Directors Go8 Group for 6 years, and is a long-standing volunteer of CASE. She is committed to higher education and the advancement profession. Her degrees include a Diploma of Arts and a Graduate Diploma of Education from Charles Sturt University.
